Today, I want to share with you how to verify PayPal account in Nigeria. It has been a long time when Nigeria was blacklisted by PayPal. Since then, Nigerians were not allowed to open PayPal account, although many Nigerians were making
use of PayPal before by hiding Nigerian IP address.
It is now a good development that Nigerians can now open and verify PayPal account without hiding Nigeria IP, use PayPal without having fear of been banned. Meanwhile, there are still some limitations for Nigerian users but it’s more better now than before because we can now pay for goods and services on sites than accept PayPal as a means of payment.

I have decided to share with you the steps I used to open and verify PayPal account with GTB Naira MasterCard. If you want to learn how I did it, just follow this tutorial below:

== > Go to PayPal website www.paypal.com and click on Sign up.

== > Choose Nigeria as your country.

== > Fill all the details with the correct answer and use a valid email which you haven’t used to open a PayPal account.

== > click on open account for individual.

== > Click on Agree and Create Account button.

== > You may experience a security challenge, just type the character that will be shown to you and click on Continue.

== > You will be asked to enter your card details. Enter your card number, expiry date, and the 3 digits number at the back of your card. Make sure that the billing address matches the address you used to open your bank account because the same address will be associated with your card.

== > Click Continue to proceed to your account, you will be asked to login to your email and click on the verification link sent to you.

== > Sign In to your email account, you will see verification message sent to you from PayPal, click on the verification link to verify your email.

== > You will be taking back to PayPal, enter your password to Sign in to your PayPal account. Click the Get Verified.

== > You will be taking to a new page to verify your card. If your card details are not shown to you, then choose your card type; enter your card number, the three digits number on the back of your card and your billing address. Click Continue

== > When you click on Continue, PayPal will charge the card $1.95 to confirm that the card is yours. But PayPal will refund the money within 24 hours.

== > You will receive debit alert from your bank and you will see 4-digits code associated with the PayPal charge. Read the alert statement carefully, you will see for example PP*0000CODE, where 0000 is the 4-digits code associated with PayPal charge.

== > Sign in to your PayPal again and click on Confirm my Card.

== > Enter the 4-digits code you received from your card statement and click “Confirm Card” button.

== > If your card confirmation is successful, congratulation message will be shown to you and now your PayPal status should be verified.

You can now start using your PayPal to make payments online. Do not worry about funding your PayPal account because whenever you use it to make payments, the card linked to your PayPal will be charged.
